i hope you will find some peace soon and get some good restorative rest. You have all my empathy.
Writing out those anxieties and sharing them within a safe and supportive environment helps me settle those night jitters. Day jitters, too. This is one of the safe and supportive environments I use for that very task. Hope you feel safe to do so, as well.
Welcome aboard. Hope you find stabilizing companionship here.
You've taken the important first step in writing it out.
Best wishes as you find your better balance.
Sharing the summary of those thoughts within my therapy support network is my second most important. A post such as this one will get that job done.
Exercising not long before bedtime. Along with writing down your feelings.
1. Address the triggers. For example, I was disorganized, which caused problems, stress, and perception things would go wrong. I worked very, very hard to get better and am now around average which is a big accomplishment for me.
2. Recognize that worrying and anxiety are not constructive. Behind the anxiety is sometimes a belief that your worry is helpful or important because you are recognizing a problem. I think two books about poker by women are good, Kornikova The Biggest Bluff, and Anne Dukes Thinking in Bets: Making Smarter Decisions When You Don't Have All the Facts Both deal with decisions, and the idea is just work on improving decisions and the decisional process. So you focus on making good decision not stressing over what could happen or even the result.
That doesn't mean things will always go right or that you won't make mistakes. It means that you will blame yourself less, if you worked to make a good decision even if things did not work out that well. Personally, when things go wrong, I have a suggestion list, note what I did wrong, and what could have been done better, and I find that improves my performance and reduces anxiety.
Part of this is hereditary and my mom is dealing with some challenges in life, and having tremendous anxiety, so I think part of this is physiological. So you work on doing better within the constraints of your body.
