Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Last Sunday, I was having a very bad day with my bladder problem and I couldn't even leave my house. I was on Facebook and saw a video by a chiropractor about urgency and frequency of urination. He was running a special. I signed up and got an appointment for Wednesday. Wow! He was super nice/caring and thorough/informative. I entered into a two month treatment plan, which is not covered by my insurance plan. He said that this treatment will be life changing. To backtrack, I have probably suffered from frequent urination for 30 years. I have tried to address it, but was told that I was drinking too much caffeine. Well, it seems that my bladder has actually dropped and my low back is a problem. I am excited about this treatment plan. To give an example of a work/gym day, it is the norm for me to use the bathroom at work 4 to 5 times in a 4 hour shift and 3 to 4 times when I'm at the gym. I only get a few minutes on the bike when I start to feel urgency and suffer through the rest of the 30 minutes that I do on the bike. This treatment is very costly but I am committed. I have noticed a tad of a change already. I will go twice a week for 2 months. This will be life changing, for sure!

here's hoping for your case.
side note
he is responding well to treatment with a pediatric rheumatologist. we kinda miss our chiropractor. she is as holistic and folksy a doctor as i have ever met.
An aspect of Over Active Bladder is that some foods, alcohol, coffee, chocolate, spicy, etc. can irritate the bladder and make us need to go more often.
I am going to a big name urologist here in my town for chronic UTIs and they are about to do some tests. I want to remember to ask about OAB and my own prolapsed organs.
With a prolapse, not all the urine is excreted. So the bladder retains urine and then needs to go again. This can cause UTIs also. One thing that helps is to urinate, pause, relax, then go again without forcing the bladder. It is called double voiding. You may already know all of this.
Good luck with the chiropractor. I always suspect someone who can say they can absolutely cure something.
I hope the new treatment works out for you.
