1. Cortisol MTD anything that can address Cortisol. She has thyroid issues, with levels being continually adjusted- more medicine, levels too high, too low, hypothyroid, too high, hyper. Anything beside Synthyroid (thyroid medicine) that can address the cortisol problem. Telling her not to be anxious does not seem to do much good, as I post in another anxiety group.
2. Ativan/Lorezipam Yep, this does seem to work, but medical people suggest its not designed for long-term use. The idea is that Lexapro will assume the function of relieving stress and anxiety long term. Tell us if the bump to 20 helps.
3. Other methods I assume you've been told about other tools, Yoga, meditation, deep breathing, positive affirmations. How come you're not utilizing those and do they work. Not asking in accusatory fashion, just trying to understand because my wife is told about these tools, has tough mornings, and doesn't use them.
Showing or telling me how upset or anxious she is, when I'm starting a very busy, and stressful day, is not helpful to me. I'm in position of saying, please, please, please, please, try to do what they say, (I come into the end of some therapy sessions, understand what they recommended),. '
