If I figure it out I'll let you know! Probably going back to the dr again today. Can't handle much more of it. Not that loosing weight is a bad thing but I've lost 12lbs this month because of this. I have to make my self eat. I'm normally a big eater like I love food and I stress eat usually lol

This has been me. I've had every test known to man and my gastro dr. said it's the Vagus Nerve in the stomach that is acting up. I never had anxiety prior to last year when I had gastritis and again now with gastritis. She said the vagus nerve actually controls the brain! Who knew! She is starting me on a low dose of Zoloft (12.5 mg) at first to see how I handle it as my stomach doesn't tolerate many meds. I tried Lexapro last year and that calmed the nerve down which settled the stomach and the anxiety, tapered off of that after 5 months due to some nasty side effects and all was in check for 5 months until a round of harsh antibiotics set the gastritis off again and here we are.

Thanks so much for the info!! Kinda Sounds like what happened to me! I just had untreated generalized anxiety what I felt like. I got sick with the flu and the bronchitis and stomach bug all back to back and during it I started severe panics and anxiety. I got well for a week maybe and now I'm "physically" healthy the dr says but I can't hold any food down. Small sips of water cuz my mouth is so dry. Eating stomach meds like crazy cuz my belly hurts and I'm constantly nauseous An diarrhea. Haven't ate anything in a good while now. I'm so scared

Sounds like you might be dealing with an Enterovirus infection. They can cause all the mental and physical symptoms you mention but sadly only a very few doctors test for them so most victims are misdiagnosed. My mom and I have been infected with Coxsackie B2 and B6 viruses for over 7 years now and have most of the same symptoms you have. Oddly though, the antidepressant Fluoxetine [Prozac] appears to be strongly antiviral against Enteroviruses at least in lab studies. I'm not sure if that applies to the other antidepressants though. I've been taking 40mg/day Fluoxetine along with an Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine antivirals for about 5 weeks now and my nausea and abdominal discomfort decreased quickly although I still feel about as sick otherwise including some diarrhea. Unfortunately there is no medically approved treatment yet but if you want more info check out Enteroviruses .com and the Enterovirus Foundation.
