congratulations on the brave move. in my world, my first steps into any big move get me scared, anxious and ready to hit that reset button, but i hope you're also at least a little proud of yourself for the initiative. it's a big deal.
be gentle with yourself and patient with the process. easy does it. writing your way through the stress really is a brilliant approach, as is seeking support for the stresses and surprises attached. keep us posted.

Talk to the new roommates, have chats with them, hang out with them. get to know them. You may find they have interests similar to your own, and then you two can go out and pursue those interests, or go out and explore the city, check out new restaurants, go for walks, fix up your house, etc.
Be patient and kind to yourself. It's only been 1 day. These things take a little bit of time. But you are going to be just fine!
You've taken the first step towards finding who you are, independent of usual resources, and now is the time to experience adventures, choose your path to what you dream and want for yourself!
Stop, pause, breathe, repeat as needed until you are calm, clear-headed, and ready to make a positive decision.
