Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. Monday morning and here I sit again feeling like the weight of the world is going to crush me. Kids are are in their virtual classes and baby is taking a morning nap and I am sitting here trying to figure out why I am experiencing such anxiety. Feel like I am living in a house of cards and they are going to collapse. Dont even know why. Why do i have these thoughts and why do I obsess over them.
Over the weekend it was not so bad. I managed ok I guess. But.... As soon as I opened my eyes this morning my mind was a blaze with nothing but negative thoughts and anxiety. I went to bed real early and got plenty of sleep so its not that I am tired. So I am just rambling on here trying to make some sense of my current situation.
Thanks guys it really does seem to help having a place to come to.

You could also try to challenge the thoughts. Say to yourself, "fine, if we're gonna have these negative thoughts, let's have them now and get it over with." You'd be surprised how well that works sometimes.
You're doing all you can do right now. And every day doesn't have to be a good day, it just has to be a day. Hope some of this helps.
Please stay strong. We are here for each other. Try to do things that you will enjoy while kids are busy with their virtual class and the baby is taking a nap. I hope you feel better soon.
With all the changes around us, I pray that all of us will experience peace and strength each day. Keep us posted. God bless.
