1) be sure I do my studying in small, steady chunks so that I don't have to do big, undigestible cram sessions. Those send my anxiety through the roof.
2) I don't let myself study at all the night before an exam. By then, I either know the material or I don't. No sense to stressing myself out over it. Instead I put my focus on relaxing and/or getting a good night's rest followed by a relaxed breakfast.

Go to see the professor about your concerns. Most colleges have learning centers/tutors that can help.
Also perhaps check out Khan Academy. It's a youtube chanel with tons of free mini-lectures. Put "Khan Academy" and the type of math you're studying into the youtube search bar.
