Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

I sometimes come home from work and just cry uncontrollably. Nothing bad happened to me that day, but my brain was full of bad thoughts. Bad Memories, terrible "what if's", constantly thinking way too deep into life and relationships. Just getting so lost in thought and spending all day trying to reel myself back into a good head space to the point of exhaustion. I work a admin desk job but I am so tired by the time I get home you would think I was performing manual labor, double shift. How do I snap out of this shit? I need, need, need to find peace. I have a lot going for me and I should embrace the loveliness of my life. I'm wasting it away being sad about NOTHING. I feel like its demons sitting in the back of my throat and chest that have been growing in me since highschool. I have so much bullshit and feelings to let go. I dont know how to let go, so it feeds off my growing frustration. I just wish I knew a way to tackle this head on that doesn't cost $150 a session.

Today I filed an application online for three things from the State of New Jersey. I surprised myself! I wasn't expecting to do it but one thing led to another and I did it. I've been putting it off. Another thing that I'm feeling good about is my outside kitties. They aren't running away anymore and let me get quite close. Two of them were relaxing on my steps a little bit ago. I...

an easy cure. Have you read Cognitive Behavior Therapy self help books? And also there may be therapy out there that costs less. But you would have to have a lower income.
what i like about your letter are two things. you pinpoint categories which should be filled if anyone is going to help you unburden. like, here is the load (demons--bad memories--bad thoughts), it is stacked this way (growing in me since high school), and I do not know how it is tied but I need it unloaded (so much I have to let go, I do not know how to let go).
like you in here we tend to talk of empty categories because even here we are in the public and don't tend to talk about specifics. I do not know if its shame, or that the keyboard is too slow but one feels that a friend would help one much more, being there, listening, giving advice, providing hope. the forum can do all that to a limited extend.
if one of the thoughts that go through my mind first thing in the morning is that the government, or someone, has invented a way to spread rabies through the air, or through the water and that is the reason I am not drinking water because I am developing hydrophobia, what can i say about the other hundreds of thoughts that will keep pouring?
so far Ativan slows me down, melatonin helps me sleep, lithium helps to stabilize the mood swings. I am reading a book someone recommended here "Rewire your anxious brain". It looks promising I am sure it will help me.
I hope I do not become a pest but if I do please tell me. I will message you anything that comes to mind that I think will help you. Wax on, wax off. Sayonara.
Also, try crisis text line if you're ever feeling in crisis, not just suicide.#741741
