Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

So sorry for what's going on. I know the distress you feel. And the women's health system really should take a closer look at how they send notification for follow ups. Needs improvement, because it really does raise the dread factor. And it really is common to feel this way with depressing news.
Have you considered pushing for an earlier appointment?
And going back in for another exam is best. Perhaps nothing to fret about (which I can imagine is difficult not to). I've known of a few ladies that have experienced such, and the stats show that most follow-ups are only non-cancerous nodes. I would go online and research more; for comfort and peace of mind.
Relax. Praying for your good health and a bit of trust that all will be just fine. Lean on your family for strong support. This is really a tough few days ahead, but I really hope that there is nothing going on to alarm you. Good thing is that with modern technology all potential for bad news is reduced. I'm interested. Did you have the most updated digital mammography? Or was it the older version of technology? Makes a great bit of difference which one. The former is a good choice too.
Many hugs and lots of love to you today. I hope for you good positive news.
I'm hoping for you a cancellation and that will get you in for an earlier appointment. You are doing good to do something to take the edge off your nerves. I'm so sorry for it. I know that you have so many questions, not so deep ones though, still too early to work hard for understanding. I can tell you that the next step is with the ultrasound method. And I'd ask to see the breast imaging before or during consultation with the radiologist. It does help to know what indicates a follow up appointment. And the yoga surely helps clear the thought-waves too. There are so many ways to use for a distraction.
Good of you to share your news here. I'm so happy that your husband and daughter are nearby too. You all go out for an ice cream treat or do something special for yourself today. Be sweet to yourself! :-)
I'll be peeping around for your update. Please keep all informed. Sending you strong hopeful, faithful vibes today.
Hugs!

The routine was to do an echogram- and that revealed it to be normal on the spot- pressure off. Next they did a biopsy, to be sure, All was safe.
Another time I had a fast growing lump and that turned out to be inflammation.
Sending you good energy.
There's a different diagnostic tool than mammograms?
