I follow true crime. I didn't follow this trial for all 36 days, but the first video that I watched had me convinced that Karen Read was innocent. There was so much corruption in this case, right down to the judge. Poor Karen was framed for her boyfriend's murder. Yesterday, the verdict was in. Not guilty for murder or manslaughter but guilty for OUI. She has a year on probation. I was so happy for her! She had an excellent legal team. I would love to see the authorities find the true murderer and convict those who were guilty of perjury. I don't think that's in the plan. Did anyone else follow the first trial or the retrial? What are your thoughts?
