Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. One of my sister in laws came over to visit. She has four kids. We really don't see them much and she is always complaining how bad they are.
They are small kids, like 6-2. I can understand how they would work on their mom's nerves.
My animals were out. I have a small house dog who is old he is like 13 in people years. So yeah he can get nippy, I always kennel him when kids come over. He was out and about, because I was not expecting them so the first thing one of her daughters do is kick my dog in the head, for nothing. I removed my dog before he could bite and kenneled him.
Our dwarf rabbit was also out, She is house trained and she loves to hop around, She is not used to small kids and before I got a chance to catch her she nipped one of the boys. He then kicked her and then tried to squish her. I was like no no. I caught her and he got mad and started mouthing off to me and his mom thought it was funny. I just smiled and walked away.
My nerves were on overdrive. I was struggling with a bad attack and because it is raining here my fibro was flaring.
So today I am very sore kinda pissed and still have bad attacks.
They are staying over night on Monday because they have to check out of their room that day and they have to be here until tuesday. She asked my hubby while I was in the bathroom trying hard not to choke the crap out of her kids.
Please send warm fuzzy thoughts and prayers my way.
My own sisters have been having some bad luck and I have been trying to help them out. They are both half sisters from my dad. One's mother passed away and the others little brother had a bad accident and broke his back pretty bad.
Plus my oldest getting ready to graduate and no new news on my hubby's health everything is just very stressful and I need a break.

Good luck - and lots of it.
Elizabeth.
Be firm and do not allow them to treat you like crap. Set firm boundaries with consequences and stick to it. They may not like it or may be surprised at first, but it will be helpful for you and them!!!!
If they don't speak to you for awhile, it will be better than walking on eggshells and having your anxiety go off the walls.
It will also protect your beloved pets who can not fend for themselves and their only recourse is to bite which then gets you in trouble.
Good luck and stand strong!
Our pets live with us. Therefore, you will respect them, their space.
If you can not say or do anything nice, walk away quietly.
So sorry that there is such a lack of responsibility on their mother's behavior, and the cruelty to animals is to be handled legally (you can be charged with animal neglect if you allow it to continue-to give you the firm strength to stand up to them right then, right there).
You are not alone in this. Congratulations on the oldest graduating, relax, smile, laugh, and enjoy the changes-it's gonna happen, so go with the flow.
Best wishes!
