Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Hello Everyone,
It has officially been about two months since I had to put my dog down. And so much has happened since then. For starters I am a grad student going into their last year (hopefully), and well in order to save more money.. I have been living at home with my parents since graduating with my bachelors in 2021. Anyways.. the last week was difficult to say the least. Mainly because well.. my anxiety was high, and so was my stress mainly because of the things going on in my household. I feel as though I have been put back into the same expectations that I had since I was a child/adolescent. Meaning. The family therapist, the "unproblematic child", the child no one has to worry about, the child whose needs can always be put aside for others. I know what some may be thinking: "Move out." Which that is in the plans however, it is difficult because grad school is expensive, as well as job hunting in the field I want. Have I applied to other jobs? Yes. All kinds of jobs, retail, food, etc. And no one hires. However, I do have an internship lined up soon for the month of July and early August. Not enough to move out, but money is money. Anyways, the plan is for me to graduate and then get my full time job, and then move out. All in that order. (however, I know plans can change at anytime) Anyways.. going back to the previous thing... yeah, shit has been hard.
I feel like I am all over the place. Nothing seems to be going right, and it feels like chaos after chaos happens here in my house. One after another and I have no break from it. This week has been the first week of normalcy, but I feel as though my anxiety has been high lately because I'm just preparing for "shit to hit the fan" because I feel as though that is the theme of 2022 for me. Hopefully I am done getting some character development arcs for the rest of 2022, however I don't think so.
I've talked to my therapist, my significant other, and some friends, and they all agree.... I have had the singlemost stress inducing, anxiety riding year. And it has sucked. But as I said in my previous post... it's not a bad life... it.... might just be a bad year.. or a very..... weird year in which I have a lot of adapting or learning to do? I will prevail.. as always.
I hope everyone else has been doing well and that their year has been good.
Until next time,
Blue
