Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Every blessing ignored becomes a curse. ~Paulo Coehlo
I have been through decades of psychotherapy which treated my social distancing skills like a curse. Granted that a child prostitute's social distancing skills are far more intense than the cultural norms of the era, but here in the isolation of Global Coronaville, I am wondering if those skills are my greatest ally. I still can't wear a mask nor bathe in chemical skin sanitizers. Social distancing seems to be my most comfortable normative here in this brave new normal.
Again, I am not at all sure what I am reaching for through my current psychotic fog. Thoughts and reality checks appreciated.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
You are doing well to make it work.
Sigh. . .
A world where child prostitution skills are Normal?
Ground control to Major Arf. . .
Alas. . . Coronaville may be historically unprecedented, but marshal law is not. 'Tis amazing how fast the proper property lines can be re-propered.
For what it's worth
I am jealous (fear of loss) of my 1/4 mile driveway. Envy is the desire to possess and getting scarier by the marshal law extension.
No man is an island

Yea, the same people with whom I used those manifested metaphors often told me, "No man is an island."
Hm-m-m-m. . . Maybe a good time to relearn Paul Simon's classic, "I am a Rock." It was my pre-therapy theme song.
If the marshal law follows historical precedents, there is ample evidence that an iron gate won't be enough to slow the process.
If you are trying to secure your drive way and don’t want the expense of an iron gate , how about a chain link gate or wooden. You can reduce the cost, or even put in sensor alarms or a camera. All can be low cost and achievable.
