Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

While my anxiety has calmed down a LOT, ive started focussing on other things.. and i dont mean good ones. I now think, everything that is wrong, is something BAD. being sick just shook me to the core. everything scares me. I have a headache, likely tension or a migraine but its been here for a few days on and off. I think theres something wrong with my head. my ear, has a bumping sound... my mother said i have fluid on the ear, so i think im going deaf. ive started to notice more than ever, the little "floaty" gray things in my vision. whatever they are, my sister didnt notice hers until she learned she had fluid on her eye.. guess what i think! I GOT FLUID ON THE EYE!
ive calmed myself down, come a long way from being sick.. just to worry about all of this other stuff. ive said it a thousand times, i had blood work done twice, and ekg done twice.. and im still scared to take a nap or go to sleep.
i really just want to be the way i was before getting sick.. not worried about anything.. now im worried about everything. the attacks are less, but the worry.. its growing.

Hello- I am new to the group

you go from being a know it all teenager to a scared adult quickly. lol
Write it out in a private journal.
Add some positive words and images.
Picture you being stronger with the fear going away.
Best wishes.
Kisses, no I don't anymore. The one I was seeing, was not really helping me. It was the same questions every session. we never progressed.
MFB I know, its just me working myself up for nothing. Last night I took some meds without eating and freaked when I was nauseated. It was AFTER I realized what I did that I calmed down.
Andreanicole, Ive tried therapy. I didn't like the one I was seeing, so I am searching for a new one. I would love to talk to someone and just learn how to re route my thinking
