Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
This morning, I responded to a post stating what a happy person I am. If you would have been in my car with me, late afternoon, you would be scratching your head. I was a complete maniac. Here's what happened: I got held up at a doctor's appointment and when I left, I stopped at Wawa. I used the bathroom and got a coffee. I was pulling out of my stall, being careful, when BAM, someone hit me. I was really pissed off and started cursing. I checked my car, no damage. The other lady parked and got out of her van. She said that her car didn't have any damage either. I left and my neck started bothering me. I had just come from a chiropractor's office. I so didn't need this. I had plans to go to the gym and shopping. I am stressed about tomorrow. I have to be at my best friend's house by 7:30 a.m. to go to town wide yard sales and later, out to dinner with my brother and our friend. I don't like having that much going on in one day. So I start heading for the gym in unchartered territory and I made so many wrong turns. I was screaming the F word to the top of my lungs. So much for being a happy person. I can turn into a mad woman when stuff goes down. I was just so stressed. I only did 30 minutes at the gym as I really wanted to go to ShopRite. I was shaking from hunger. I had to skip Walmart. Ugh! My neck feels better. I was really pissed that I had just had an adjustment when she hit me.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
happy people have bad days, too, especially when hungry. when i am hungry and lose my temper because of it, i am not "angry." i am hangry. add a car accident to hunger and hanger is inevitable. . . anger channeling time. . . after i eat.
i'm kinda superstitious about things like claiming to be a happy woman. it seems to be a jinx to brag about the positive things in my life.
I think I mention in my journals a lot about not allowing myself to be happy becasue it’s a jinx.
So, wow , others feel the same way! Such an awful way to be but I do it all the time.
Hope you went to dinner and enjoyed. So great you and your brother do that.
