Writing it out, sorting it out, and working through those thoughts with actions you are taking and then put them aside.
My most effective safeguards are journaling and my therapy support network. Journaling offers me a private processing space to keep me from repressing to the point of exploding. My therapy supporters help me feel less alone with the psychoweirds and help me sort the facts from the delusions.
When my mental health symptoms cause hardships for any of the people around me, I make amends as quickly as possible. I didn't choose my mental health problems, but it is not okay when those problems hurt other people.
Have you looked into seeing a therapist? That is someone you can discuss your anxiety symptoms to, and you two can come up with a plan to get yourself better.
You can also talk to your girl friends, family, etc.
