Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
I've been lost lately. Idk what to do. I feel like killing my self or hurting myself or others for no random reason tho. I've had this many times before with my therapist and I'm in a weird place. I'm just scared that I could do something even tho I know I won't but that's how my ocd makes me think. It's hard having a whole bunch of mental disorders bc it completely changes your view of things and how you think and feel and react to things. You always get trapped and your pool of thoughts thinking there's no way out. It's hard to find, it just takes a while expecially for me

When i was in the ER February 16th 2025, i was being admitted to ICU where i was for 3 weeks, then had to relearn to walk for 3 weeks in another hospital rehab floor, the nurse told me something that made me feel for over 18 months now that i was finally *safe*. She told me that the guy who raped and beat me 21 years ago now almost 20 years at that time, was in prison as of a month before that...

Most of the time, I don't know where to start and give...

I send you big heart hugs. May we both have the courage to not give up on ourselves, even when our minds are running amok! It will pass.
So far as I can tell, I got past my suicidal ideation, with a great deal of therapy work, back in the 70's, but the homicidal ideation still worries me, ALLOT. My suicidal ideation had masked a great deal of suppressed and well-justified rage. Alas, rage is a hard force to manage and random targets innocent victims in its blindness. I have invested quite allot of additional therapy work on learning how to identify, challenge and manage my anger, but it remains an on-going problem. Works still in progress after all these years. Peer support from fellow ragers and even a few introverts remain my most important anger management tool. Trust is an essential ingredient in healing.
I hope this post is the beginning of your own therapy support network. Healing happens. Hope it happens to you. Welcome aboard. Hope you find stabilizing companionship here.
P.S. A silver lining in that therapy cloud is that my healing needs have introduced me to some genuinely amazing and courageous people I never would have met any other way.
