Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
I had a great day on Tuesday but then I got sick and was down for the count for two days. I woke up feeling much better this morning. I got an early start. On Tuesday, Walmart had zero eggs and Aldi had zero gallons of water but today, Walmart was Egg City and I got gallons of water on sale at ShopRite. I was thrilled! I came home and unloaded and relaxed on the loveseat but then I still had energy so I went for bloodwork and went to CVS to score up on deals and back to a different ShopRite for water and got some other stuff. i have really been working on myself. i have really toned down on my cursing and anger. No soap in my mouth in 2026! I am coming to terms with things that I have been blaming on life. I am taking accountability. I do things too fast or take things personally. So if i throw old lemon slices from my drink in the trash and it misses, well, I just call it all kinds of names and get mad. I have been angry about so many things. I thought I was a happy person with life challenging me all the time but I am an angry person underneath it all. So back to today, I was really happy that I went out a second time. I talked to a friend, who likes to keep me informed about politics, and he almost ruined my mood telling me stuff about the new governor of New Jersey. I did not vote for that woman! After that, I had a snack (celery with cream cheese) and made some coffee and fixed my computer (it actually fixed itself). Thank God! It's been so slow, like molasses. Now it's 3:29 p.m. and I still have energy. I am wondering how much of my anger and my thoughts contribute to my lack of energy most of the time. Yesterday, I talked to an agent at my insurance company and my therapy will have a zero co-pay! I do have to write to the therapist but I needed my new insurance card, which i just found today as I am behind in my mail. I watched most of an interview with Gabor Mate and it was super interesting. He talked a lot about childhood trauma. If anyone wants the link, I can post it. It's long and I slept through some of it but I would suggest watching it if you had a not-so-great childhood. i better let you go! I could make this a book, as my brothers would call it.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
Hope today is another good one
