As I posted a few days before, I am from Venezuela and currently y country is going through a crisis, economical and political. Things are really rough and ugly down here, and this has come to create a constant anxiety in me, I feel scared most of the day, I can't get off the computer from reading the news, but everytime I read one I get really depressed and angry. I feel I'm getting filled with hate and fear, and that's not who I am.I don't know how to handle this, I rarely sleep well, because things get harder at night so I'm afraid and feeeling I need to know what' happening every second.
Could you suggest me some ways to handle it? In this times of crisis is important to stay calm, but I feel that I just can't it'ss impossible to me not to feel worry, scared and angry all the time =(

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
Ask yourself how much you are really helping the situation by being on your computer all the time reading about these terrible problems. I think you are afraid that if you step away you are turning your back on your people, but that's not true. Whether you read the news or not, those events will continue to happen and you cannot stop them all by yourself. Try to take some deep breaths, turn off your computer, take a walk, and enjoy the people in your life. Maybe try to limit yourself to half hour update every day. I hope that helps. I do know how you feel.
Anxiety is your body's way to help you cope with the stress, so to turn it down a bit, you have to move your body and brain in motion to help it settle down.
When it comes to events that affect our well-being, we have to do the best we can for our selves.
