Hi, just wanted to share what's been going on lately. In September, my anxiety went into FULL swing. I started having panic attacks, and when I didn't have a full blown attack, I would have dizziness, heart palpitations, sweats and crying spells. I've just been a wreck.
I've had tests dones to check my heart, blood sugar, iron and blood pressure. Finally, when I went to my gynocologist Tuesday, I told him how I was feeling and he suggested Lexapro like my other doctor. I've been resisiting antidepressants due to sideaffects, and because I have felt like it was something more than just depression and anxiety.
I insisted that my gynocologist test my hormone levels. A day later, the office called and ask that I come back in. Turns out, I have a mega imbalance in my hormones, and it has been causing my anxiety, panic, and strange physical symptoms. My gynocologist said he was shocked, because I do not fit the typical body type for a hormone imbalance, and my periods are normal.
Just wanted to share. He prescribed a birth control and said to hold off on the Lexapro. At least I know I'm not going crazy, and there actually is something going on inside of my body.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
Keep us posted on if it works out for you :)
Birth control pills have side effects just like antidepreseents if not more. One pill is no better than the other.

If so does it help with the anxiety?
Every one is different and reacts differently to medications. The Paxil seems to do the trick for me, but I can tell that I am more vulnerable to attacks just before the onset of my period.
Best of Luck to you.
