Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Just got home last night from a vacation and it was a weird mixed bag that still hasn't quit. It was the first trip my wife and I took without the kids in I don't know how long. We got down there okay, and then my wife got COVID the next day. So, she was stuck in bed for days while I tested negative throughout the week. Then, yesterday as we were getting ready to come home I started feeling not great. Then, last night it hit... Fever, chills, racing mind with fever thoughts. I'll take a test today, but I think that's just a formality.
Now I'm feeling unsure about the next trip we have planned to England. I know that's irrational, but the idea of any of us dealing with that in that situation sounds terrible and makes me all kinds of anxious.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
Life goes on, whether we do or not.
You planned these vacations, you went on first one, and managed the challenges.
Take the one to England, go for the adventure! You'll find you'll have some wonderful memories to last a lifetime. If you don't go, you'll regret "not taking the time" for it.
my stomach is now churning from the reminder of being hit by "Atahualpa's revenge" in bolivia. i didn't see a doctor about it, but i believe it was a bacterial infection. clean water is still hard to come by in bolivia.
oh bother. . .
But yeah, I expect I'll be fine, or at least mostly fine, by the end of the week and ready to go. It does have me thinking that bringing a bunch of masks seems like a sound precaution.
i'm glad the mask option is now available for those who have faith in it. disposable gloves, too. sani-wipes are still enough for me. those come in handy at the most inconvenient of times.

for what it's worth
we keep bees and our city bees are outperforming the country bees by a pretty wide margin. urban awareness of bee safety has grown tremendously and the landscapers us a wide range of bee food. the countryside is full of monocultures (crops) and toxic chemical users.
another FWIW
urban agriculture has gained enough strength to be on wall street. those prideful londoners are no lightweights on that scene.
