Today, was interesting. We had chapel today at school, and the person spoke on storms in our lives, and then at the end gave anyone who needed to the opportunity to speak to a counselor about their different "storms" in their lives. From the moment he started talking about rough times in our lives I felt my anxiety inside of me just waiting to ruin my day. My heart stared beating really fast, but then the speaker would get on a different topic and it would calm down, and this continued for the entire chapel. Anyways when he gave us the opportunity to talk to a counselor, I went out and she took me to a back room where we sat down, and she asked me what I had been going through, so I shared with her my struggles with anxiety and panic attacks, and how i felt like i was failing every time i got one, and how i was upsetting everyone because I couldn't overcome it, and then she revealed to me that she struggled with the exact same thing in high school and occasionally even now, and she's a teacher with a kid and a baby on the way. She told me that I'm human and anxiety is part of being human, and that No one is mad at me because I have panic attacks. And that people want to be there for me and comfort me during it. So she talked to me for a bit and then I went back to class. It was just so nice to be able to talk to her and know that I'm no the only one at my school. But no panic attack again today, so yay!!!! Two days without one!

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
By that Arfian measure, you did far, far better than simple avoidance. You saw, you rose and you conquered.
