Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. Today was a bad day. I got my booster shot on Saturday and since then I've been feeling poopy. I had an enormous panic attack today in the middle of teaching! This. Never.Happens. I should have known something was up when I started to disassociate the last 5 minutes of driving to work. When I panicked, I couldn't breath well, sweat a whole lot, and ran out of the room. I thought I had to be taken to the hospital and freaked out. I went to a trusted colleague who has panic attacks as well & she gave me a CBD gummy. It helped and got me through the day. My dad and my fiancee think my horrible panic attack is related to the shot and it's a side effect. I asked the school nurse and she said she never heard of such a thing to be related. My mind is spinning and the cycle of anticipation has begun. Has anyone else encountered something similar?

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
Just had a sort of panic attack about it, dreaming in fact and just woke up to a wet bed. I'm sure it's fine but you're not the only one worrying about it! We'll both get over it I'm sure.
the longer the chaos drags on, the more frequent the panic attacks seem to become. i'm still plying my pre-covid therapy tools, but i often wonder if we will need a new set of therapy tools for this government/internet powered set of anxieties.
It's easy to aim towards a 'medical event' such as this.
