Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Probiotics may be worth taking for overall wellness which includes the brain.
Vitamin D3 is recommended a lot for depression/anxiety, especially if you can’t get outside a lot.
Medical marijuana also helps me a lot.
I got fed up with all the different medicines that either didn't help or made my anxiety AND health issues worse leading to more meds and new symptoms.
I turned to altenative medical doctors (naturapaths) and supplements AND a diet change coupled with exercise and have beat anxiety and other ailments.
Most ppl are vitamin deficient and have hormone issues which are the leading cause of anxiety. Yes.....your environment and your programming play a part as well.
Our soil in which our plants are grown are very dificient in vital nutrients. Plus the prepackaged high carb GMO foods (i.e. frozen pizza, canned soups, sugar laden yogurt....and so forth) are depriving us of the nutrients that help keep us in homeostasis.
Sadly, insurance dictates to the doctors which tests can be run and the doctors play along with the guidelines and ignore the true core of what is making us sick and then add "meds" that further destroy our health.
Yes, as Breezy28 mentions, our health starts in the gut. It is our second brain and very important. If your gut is malfunctioning, you will indeed get sick and stay sick until you fix it!
You can take all the supplements and eat all the right foods, but if your gut is comprimised by poor foods and disease, you will not absorb the nutrients and will not improve.
Most ppl have leaky guts and all kinds of undigested foods are spilling into your system and blood stream. They get sick or get anxiety and run to the doctor who knows very little about nutrition and that it is our medicine that can cure us. However, ppl want instant gratification or an instant cure. I get that as I was once in that position. I'm fighting carpel tunnel and it took 57 years to get it and it is taking time to repair itself. I have been working with a chiropractor and massage therapist for a few months now. I take a ton of supplements to compensate for all the damage pharma drugs and a poor lifestyle created.
I am fixing my gut which I have been working on for several months and am finally making headway. I bought really good quality supplements and they are finally taking hold.
We are ALL magnesium deficient......fact!!!! That alone causes anxiety AND insomnia.
I had to ask my doctor to run a B12 test on me and sure enough.....I was deficient. I had to also up my D3 as I was deficient in that as well.....even tho I was already taking it. She failed to tell me that since I was not absorbing it that I also need to take K2 with it as well. I found that out through my own research.
I take a B-Complex that is methalated just in case I have MTHR which I don't have the insurance nor the money to get tested. I figure since I wasn't absorbing B12, it's better safe than sorry.
Hormones also are a huge factor in your health. Again, the doctors do not run the right test and most of the time, your Thyroid tests come back normal when indeed they are not functioning.
When you realize that the FDA, Big Pharma, our government, and most doctors do not care about you......you will wake up and take control of your own health. This requires tons of research and taking measures to improve your diet. Get plenty of rest and exercise. Drink fresh water and turn off all negative social media!
There are plenty of good supplements out there that help with anxiety and other ailments. However, if you don't address the underlying cause such as vitamine/mineral dificiency......poor digestion......hormone issues......nothing will help.
I know I sound like a broken record and I hardly comment here anymore becuz I don't want to waste my time spinning my wheels.
I really hope that you and others would consider that when it ain't working with the doctors and Pharma meds.....natural may be the alternative route to try out. Again.....only once you address the underlying health issue. Gut first.....then add supplements. Good quality supplements might I add.
Wishing you and everyone good health and a happy life.
Check with your doctor before adding any regimine. However, if they do not agree or listen to you.....fire them and find someone who is willing to work with you.
