hello, somewhat new to the site. really could use some advice from real people who struggle with this as well. Advice from people who have triggers needed: if you are with friends watching a movie, or discussing a triggering subject, but don’t want to call attention to it at all, as it can be perceived as rudeness to some, or maybe you are in a situation where you can’t really leave the room or have much control over your environment- what are some good coping skills to get through those moments without seeming rude?I guess maybe they get annoyed because it happens quite a lot. I have things I’m still working through. Having to stop a movie they are in the middle of really pisses some people off.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown.
