Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Who ever reads this I just gotta say I love you. I love you because you struggle and live through the same things I live with. Just know that we are not alone and that many of us that go through this are the nicest people and the most empathetic because we know what it is like to live and overcome such adversities.
Here is the deal, not to get negative, but I got need of help. I take 150mg of effexor XR and I missed a dose. Well anyways tonight I started feeling super shaky and over stimulated. I started feeling like I was losing a bit of my focus and there are times that images come to my mind and I try to make sense of them and my jaw feels clenched. I felt a little over stimuated right now and thought "hey why not, let's write a journal" So I started to write a little and a little became a bit more :). I am not in bad spirits or sad, I just feel hella weird, like I can't close my eyes, in fact I feel scared to close my eyes because there are images that make no damn sense. FOr example I was laying down and felt a bit dizzy and started having images of plants and for some reason I felt like there was something for me to solve. I've had these images/dreams/thoughts before and I hated them. I remember there was this time that I had thoughts of selling homes and I was trying to sell one to my aunt and it just felt like I had a problem to solve but I was between sleep and awake. Also there was this time when images of spinal cords would be in my mind and I felt so damn lost, like I was trying to figure something out. The thing is that those days I didn't take Effexor so I don't know if these are symptoms of missing one dose or just symptoms of anxiety. Who knows. If any of you can articulate these feelings better and have felt the same way please let me know.

Ice passed away in February at 17yrs old. She collasped one day and that was it. I am still crying. I miss her so, so much.I miss the smell of her paws, playing with her scruffy beard, listening to her bark in her sleep, the way she nudges my hand with her nose during our walks. I see her everywhere. In my car, at the door, under my desk, the neighborhood. I want to hold her and kiss her so...

I lost my dog last July to cancer, as some of you might remember. It was devastating and I got very depressed, but through treatment I got back to "my normal" last month. I've been poking around the rescue sites to adopt a dog and I've seen a few since July and I visited them but decided I wasn't ready. I actually adopted one in September but realized I was too depressed and it was a mistake so I...
