Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Today did not start out good (the usual as of late) I woke up angry and couldn't really figure out why. Anger quickly turned to anxiety when my stomach problems started acting up. I believe that was because what I are for breakfast.
Felt like I was on the verge if losing it all day I was so dizzy from all the gas (stomach gas if that is not clear) had to ask my mom to make my lunch. I cried a little bit but I felt like I was gonna burst into tears pretty much the whole day.
That's not to say the entire dat was bad though. Pushed through the anxiety and got stuff done. I finally baked the cake layers for the cake I am making. It's for two of my cousins bdays and they're coming up this weekend. I'm reslly hoping it turns out okay I'll post a pic if it does.
Also did good with trying to take care of myself even changed my clothes today. I change every day but always just wear the same pants and a big t-shirt. Wearing anything different always heightens anxiety but also makes me a little more confident.
Not looking forward to sleeping soon as I am feeling very weird and scared. Though I'm not the only one though. My sister said she's been having random spikes of anxiety all day.
If you guys are awake tell me how your day was. I love coming on here and talking to people and being able to vent and try and help others who are having a tough time.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
Keep writing it out, it does help.
Curious... have you ever thought about talking with a therapist? I talk to mine by phone, I don't even see her in person anymore. So it's real easy just to chat by phone. I am thinking a therapist could help you sort out your anxious feelings, help you with getting out of the house, etc.
Just a thought... wanting the best for you!!!
And yes I have. I did have a counselor a few years ago when I still left. I want to have one again but I have been too scared to really go for it. I emailed the office of the place i went to and they said they only offer over the phone, zoom calls, and in person. I really was looking for a texting option as I have such a hard time talking in person. On the phone is even worse for me.
My main fear is that I won't be able to tell my feelings right and I will get a misdiagnosis or the wrong treatment. Like I am actually very worried about that. It's pretty much impossible to talk about my feelings out loud I have a hard time explaining things in real life. Words just don't come out right. Not even just feelings I suck ay explaining anything.
In Arf World, facing my fears is an important --perhaps THE most important-- aspect of psychotherapy. There is no right/wrong to telling your feelings and the diagnosis is but a professional opinion. Professionals routinely disagree with one another. For *this* patient, working with what's available is the essence of recovery.
I hope you'll take the risk and pursue that psychotherapy. It works if you work it and you are worth it. Gentle support while you decide for yourself.
They do have texting therapy, Two well known ones are called BetterHelp, and there's another one, Talkspace. You could look into it, as those are text-based therapy. Just Google the names and it will take you to their websites.
Express yourself as you are. That's the best way to get the help you want.
