I have an upcoming appointment with my dr. And looking for anyone to ease my mind.
I was on lexapro for years and last March my pcp took me off lexapro and put me on buspirone. My anxiety went through the roof (panic attacks, depersonalization/derealization) and i saw a psychiatrist who said my panic attacks weren't covered by buspirone. She put me on Effexor. I feel I have a lot of break through anxiety and some dizziness as side effects. I've heard withdrawl coming off Effexor is horrific and I'm so scared to up my dose and would rather switch to a new med.
im scared of the side effects and increased racing thoughts/side effects.
Has anyone had experiences?
