hi. I tapered off Effexor over 6 weeks and started trintellex a month ago. I take .5 clonazepam once a day as well. The last few days I have been having nasty panic attacks. Shakes. Stomach upset. Not sure if it’s still Effexor withdrawal or side effects from new med. if I take clonazepam every 4 hours or so it does help. Anyone have any advice? This is rough

I’m not a doctor, but it sounds like it may be withdrawals from Effexor. Depending on how long you were on the med, your body probably became very reliant on it. I’ve also heard from others that Effexor can cause nasty withdrawals.

I was on Effexor many years ago. (in the 90's) Effexor and Zyprexa combo. I felt that the Effexor dried out my sinuses.
