Does anyone else constantly have the fear they have Covid or will get Covid? It's ruining my life. I've had a persistent cough since March and when this virus thing hit I really freaked out. I've had 2 Covid tests between March and September and all negative. Every day I think this is the day I actually have it and I work myself up to the point where I have symptoms and I go into a panic attack. I'm a single mom of 2 children with no emotional support or family left who are living. I fear if I get sick my children will be left alone and forced into foster homes. I'm so sick of living in fear every minute of every day.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
I have 2 special need boys who I can't even see because of covid and I'm at a high risk. .
Try and find something to take your mind of things play some music or read a book .
You will be fine keep smiling.
I know it's hard not to worry when every where you turn you have someone or something telling you to be scared. Just know you're doing the best for yourself. That's got to give you some of your confidence back.
Also taking a break from the news and social media has significantly helped me with my Covid worries.
Every day we are a step closer to a vaccine though.
Wear a mask and wash your hands often.
You have tested negative twice so that is great.
You're doing all you can to be healthy.
Start enjoying doing things with your children and be present for them in the moment.
I have mostly stopped watching the news these days because it only increases fear.
Try and live for the moment, are you safe and comfortable right now? The future hasn’t happened yet and is unknowable so don’t spoil your present, especially time you could be enjoying your children. They grow up so fast. I think a vaccine will happen quite soon. Good luck and enjoy your day.
I will need a spaceship to increase my social distances any further.
