Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
yes, sometimes I think, maybe I should just take him outside? maybe I'd finally find someone like me, lol. my dad would make cracks about it (even though he talks to him too sometimes, lol), but then he sent me an article about adults w/stuffed animals, and how like 40 or 50% have them or sleep w/them, lol!!! and I was like SEE!? I'm not a weirdo freak loser!! lol. the world is just so stressful and unpleasant and cruel, that we need adorable stuffed animals to cope, haha.
no...but maybe I should? lol. maybe I should tell them about my stuffed animals, haha? my dad keeps saying I should just be myself and bring him w/me lol. :P
If you want take your stuffed animals outside with you. There is nothing wrong with doing that. They will keep you company. And you will have less headache having to deal with them then real people. Lol If you feel like you need to see a therapist that's o.k. It's totally your call. And bring your animal with you if you feel comfortable. Trust me the therapist won't say anything. yeah, but I also worry that someone would say something or do something. at least if I keep him home then he's safe and doesn't have to deal w/the crappy world like I do. kinda like those law and order episodes w/the crazy parents that keep their kids locked up to "keep them safe" LOL. :P
Yes you officially have a friend. Lol
Along with your stuffed animals.
Do whatever you feel is most comfortable for you and you feel safe. Think about a therapist. I have one and he is the most supportive person. I feel safe with him and I can tell him anything. He's awesome. Italianmomma4ever
Staying busy and keeping your mind on other things will help keep the anxiety away. You will be too busy. Walking is great exercise. Being outdoors and the fresh air is very soothing and calming. And like you said if you need your medicine at least you got it. Italianmomma4ever
Maybe try a different therapist if she didn't work. Sometimes you just have to find the right fit. Keep trying. It's well worth the effort and you would benefit from it. I only see mine 3 times a year. I actually talk on the phone with him because he's not seeing patients because of the virus.
With my therapist I just kinda of check in with him and he just wants to see how I'm doing. A lot of therapists may want to see you more often. Hope you are able to find one online.
Any luck finding a online therapist?
