I don't carry the stone with me anymore (but I know where it is just in case I ever need it again.) The comfort objects I use now are more specific to certain types of anxiety. E.g., I'm used to be really uneasy when I had to fall asleep, and now I have a stuffed bear that (for whatever reason) helps me to feel better at night.
I think comfort objects are a great tool that can really help people to cope with anxiety. :)
I would say my comfort object is mostly my iPhone 6, which I stare at all the time and fiddle with apps when I'm bored, anxious or idle. It takes me away to a different world.
Other comfort objects that I have is certain rings and bracelets that I wear every day.
I also also with a fuzzy blanket when it's not hot and that is comforting
At night I sleep with a stuffed bear that I've had for years.
I use different techniques, and a security blanket ... yes, as a grandmother, I use a security blanket...and it works.

I certainly have a few items that are considered comfort objects. I go on my iPad and go on this app IMDb and just research movies and then before you know I am on there for hours just taking things off my mind.
At night, I sleep with a stuffed animal. I have done that since I was young.
