Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

I did a full on clean of my work and rest spaces today. It was surprising how much of a difference it made!
What people don’t realize is that your environment can affect you emotionally. For me, my environment didn’t feel like “my” environment for a long time, and I subconsciously felt some anxiety in my workspace, which made me less productive. Similarly, having strewn, messy, and useless things in my resting space made it more difficult to relax.
If you’re the type to hold onto everything because of its sentimental value, like me, it could be good to ask if it’s worth it. In my case, they were cluttering up my environment really badly. What helped me was to pack it all into a box and put it somewhere where it wouldn’t affect me as much.
Even if you’re just a generally messy person, it’s a good idea to think about why you have a hard time being organized and what you could change about your environment to help that. In my case, shelves and drawers were stuffed with so much useless and misplaced stuff that it made it difficult. By reallocating and throwing away everything that I didn’t need, I made a lot more space for everything in my workspace.
Just going through for a clean and decluttering can be a very relaxing experience, and it feels great to sit in a clean and organized room. It’s not gonna cure your anxiety, but it’s a small thing that could have a positive effect on it.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
It's not a ^cure^ for anxiety, but it's an effective tool in the process of anxiety management.
Cleaning and clearing the physical area also helps to clean and clear the mental area.
Best wishes.
