2 weeks ago I went To the doctor with chest pain they didn't EKG checked all my vitals couldn't find anything abnormal so we zoomed it was probably my Heidel hernia back after eight years ago I had surgery I still am having pain even though I was given new medicine I'm really scared the heart has something wrong with it even though in my head I assume it's my hiatal hernia giving me the chest pain the neck pain I'm just not feeling well the end of June I go for an eye exam in Boston. I have a Nevis on my eye like a freckle but I have to have checked every year to make sure it's not cancer and I'm really anxious about that even though I've gone three years with no changes. Cut the chest pain and jaw pain and neck pain be my anxiety and my worry? I do feel like the chest pain gets worse when I think about everything that's happening. I made another doctors appointment hoping to get into see a gastrologist for my hiatal hernia but for now I just don't know how to stop thinking and stop worrying

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
I am not familiar with any of the other possibilities you mentioned, but I do know that chest pains are one of my more consistent anxiety symptoms. So are over-thinking and doom-sayer worry habits. I have tons of psychotherapy tools I use to manage those symptoms, but it is good to rule out other possibilities before expecting those tools to work.
I hope you'll feel safe to vent your worries here while you sort. Gentle support while you sort. Welcome aboard.
Try your best to distract yourself. Watch a TV show you like, read a good book, do a little bit of cleaning or straightening up your house, step outside for a little bit for some fresh air. Distractions help stop the anxious thoughts when they seem like they just won't stop.
You've taken the important first step in writing it out. I would add drawing a stick figure to help you see how the pain happens when, where, who, what, and that will help you sort out the possibility of it being anxiety helper.
Anxiety is natural and is a part of you. It is designed as a helper, so learning how to use it as a strength in finding your better balance will help you be calm.
When it comes to health issues that require testing at intervals, a nurse showed me a way to help reduce the 'thinking' into 'doing' thinking by using the past results and the way you are doing to help you remember that it's just a tool to keep information current for the best balance.
Best wishes as you learn what works for you to find your better balance.
