Well, this is fun. 5 days in on the Buspar and about an hour after i take it, I feel really SLEEEEEEEPY for a couple hours, and then nothing. I feel no less anxious. The hamster in my brain is still running in the wheel about a million miles an hour, freaking out about... whatever, going OMG OMG OMG, what if this, what if that!!!! GAAAAAAHHHHHHHH.
dammit. i should stop buspar and just microdose shrooms or something.

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. When I first started taking anxiety medication, I also got sleepy and could go right to sleep after. It took time for my system to get used to it, and now I take it during the day and don't have sleepiness anymore. It takes some time, though. Hang in there.
Do you speak with a therapist? Usually, they recommend therapy and medication together, for optimal results. It can help to talk to someone impartial. I speak to my therapist once per week by phone.
