It's been a while since I've posted here, though I've been looking through posts from time to time. Life has been busy and good.
My daughter moves on to campus in a week. I've got lots of feelings about that, and anxiety is one of them, but I'm excited for her. The school is only like 10 miles away and she's keeping her job here in town, so we'll still be seeing her pretty regularly.
But last night... I live right on the edge of the area that was evacuated for a big fire. We could see the glow of the fire from our house. I'm sure we know people who lost their houses. That was an anxiety supreme, but I used my tools and got through it. Now to deal with the feelings in the aftermath...
I'm not a fan of this decade.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
