Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Sorrow upon sorry for your loss and the cloud raining upon the joy of your new baby. Ouch to the nth degree. Steadying support while you ride the waves of all those intense emotions.
Breathing is my own number one tool for my anxiety and depression. My breathing goes wonky for both conditions. When I can regulate my breath, the rest eases, as well. I learned some of my most effective breathing exercises in childbirth classes.
Sharing freely and often about my triggers and life issues within my therapy support network is my second best tool. It is easier and more effective to share within that support network than it is with my friends and loved ones because here people have ALLOT more insight to what it means to live with anxiety and depression. I feel less alone and freaky for ^it^ when my peer supporters share freely, as well.
Welcome aboard, Katie. Hope you find stabilizing companionship here.
Sometimes I feel as if the whole world is crashing down on me. There are days were it is easier to breathe than others but, I know I have the best guardian angel watching over myself as well as my daughter.
Love never dies. I carry him with me each and every day
Keep venting. Your answers are in there.
Listening. . .
The sadness that you feel will probably be there to some extent the rest of your life, but it will get easier. My best friends' died about a year and a half ago, and honestly, I still get times of sadness when I think about them.
Something that you might try to make is a memory book, something that you can read to your daughter about the type of man your fiance (and I assume, her dad) was, how much he loved you and would have loved your daughter, add in pictures and whatever else you can. Write a mock letter from him to your daughter.
Write what you are worried about and cross off what you can control.
One of the best gifts we give our hearts is to remember those we love with the tears of joy and sharing those special moments that are now cherished memories.
Best wishes with your pregnancy!
