Why can't I talk to my co workers?
I stumble over my words, say things wrong, and turn red in the face. I am intelligent and work at a hospital but my insecurities makes me sound stupid sometimes. I am worried everyone hates me and talks about me as I walk away. I am a 24 year old working with all women 30+ in age.
I have tried not to care. I have tried to practice talking more. Any ideas? Should I just resign to the fact they might not like me and that's okay?
I feel alone at work like I can't trust anybody
It makes. Me feel lonely and even more Insecure and depressed.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Accepting that small talk isn't on my list of natural talents took allot of pressure off coping with my own social anxiety. It even opened me up for a surprise my social anxiety never did: There are people who like quiet company.
I think everyone above me is right about stop trying to figure others out. You wont ever know what there thinking so try not to worry about them.
I'm a loner at school and don't belong anywhere so I understand you being lonely. I would try not to add any worry on yourself. Just do what your supposed to do and forget the rest if you can.
I have been the youngest in the office before and the only woman so I know what you are feeling. Please keep reaching out and trying to connect. WHat about inviting a group from work out for lunch or for a coffee after work? I have noticed that when I open up like this and invite others to get away from the office everyone seems more at ease.
