So it has been about a month since my break up and I feel better about myself and less anxious overall. I'm happy for the most part but there are times where I find myself reflecting and wondering what-if scenarios. Also recently have been getting a lot of I guess you could call them "signs" telling me they were the one and to reach out and stuff like that. It's just giving me this false hope and I'm trying to ignore them but they keep appearing all over my social media and video and movie recommendations with those ideas.
Any advice on how to deal with this false hope?

How is it going with your working out, reading, talking with your friends, your therapy, etc? Keeping busy with your own life is a great way to move past the break up.
I would not recommend reaching out to her at all. The way it ended, and her telling you those things (your other posts), there is nothing new or kind that she would say back to you if you tried to contact her. Even if you wanted to say Hi. It would only cause you pain, and set you back to square one again of the break up.
Try your best to keep moving forward. Think about things you want to do with your life. First loves are a big deal and it will take a little time. You are 18 years old and you will meet someone who will be great for you. For now, just keep working on yourself, your goals, your school, your career aspirations, etc.
You're doing great and you're going to be okay!
When I am fielding such tugs, "Acceptance," "Distraction" and "Avoidance" are my most effective coping tools.
1) I accept that these tugs are just part of the process. There is no value in beating myself up for them.
2) Finding something else to do distracts me from the feelings.
3) Avoiding the places/activities which trigger those feelings in me.
Steadying support while you work the process, Pinhead. Change is seldom easy.
Best wishes as you find your better balance.
