Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
So me and my girlfriend have been going out for a year and half, we rented several flats and apartments pretty much as soon as we got together. We became very close but then I started making stupid mistakes, talking to other girls etc. It was more of an attention thing. Also, having anxiety/PTSD/Depression for the last 5 years, I finally felt happy with myself but i suppose the whole relationship and love was overwhelming and I messed things up. Anyway, I had to get myself away because I couldn't cope with the mixed emotions and feelings so I decided to travel to Australia. I lasted just under two weeks because the anxiety was TOO much and I realised that I was very happy with my girlfriend and I wanted to rekindle. I came back hoping to get married and live happily ever after. Unfortunately, she had decided that she wanted to go work on a cruise ship for 6 months.. I am upset and frustrated that I have almost lost the best thing that has ever happened to me! She is amazing and beautiful. It's coming up to her second month away, I have been crying pretty much every day since she has gone and the loneliness has been unreal. But I generally miss her and what we used to be. We have had loads of phone calls where I've told her how I feel but she wants to do this for her. She is a little older than me (26). I think I have got over the worst but still finding it difficult to sleep and concentrate because she is fore front of my mind. There is a load of things I need to deal with myself, such as loving myself again... Any advice?

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

"don't be a hate hole" has been one of my recent mantras which seems to be escaping my mouth more and more often. it emerges when i am faced with the endless list of chores i would rather not deal with. insurance. head lice. bureaucracy. in-laws. the list goes on and on and on and on, ad infinitum.reality checks requested. am i making sense?"ever'thin they is but loving leaves a rust on your...

I'd take this time to be "me", no attachment. There is nothing wrong with talking to other girls, in fact, this keeps your conversation skills up to a level that makes it interesting to have conversations on a daily basis.
She made an excellent choice to work on a cruise ship for six months. It requires tremendous effort to balance work in an enclosed area that also is where you have free time (precious little free time).
Cry your heart out, dry up your tears, and let the past go. No matter what happened previously, it's done, and it belongs in the past.
Practice being in the moment, experiencing "you" moments.
So, write out how you feel, close the paper, and go on to another activity.
The more you do for you now, the better you will be for the future, no matter what it brings.
Distract your usual thought pattern.
