Hi I'm new to this site. I've had depression symptoms for several years that I treat with medicine and it usually helps. Last week I ended up in the hospital with severe stomach pains and had some tests done. One test showed a small mass on my pancreas and the second test contradicted that. I'm seeing a specialist next week but I have this overwhelming sense of dread that something is majorly wrong. I have a good life, 2 daughters getting married this year, 1 daughter married with 3 beautiful children that I adore. My husband is my rock and with him we seek the love of our Lord to see us thru. With all of that one would wonder what I have to be depressed about. I just can't answer that right now because something is bringing me down. It's been a long time since I had a major depression/anxiety attack. I am usually quite happy but I find myself dwelling too much on the future and what is going to happen. I can actually admit that my biggest fear in life is being alone.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
Gentle support while you sort out your medical scare and the mysteries of why disorders like anxiety and depression hit at the most illogical of times. I guess that if they were logical, the doctors wouldn't be calling them, "Disorders," huh?
