Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Being depressed often makes us anxious, and anxiety often makes us depressed.
I think that is true. I have anxiety. But at times I can get down on myself because of the anxiety. So that could lead into feeling depressed. I think the two of them go hand and hand. Even though I was only diagnosed with anxiety, sometimes I can feel alittle depressed and it makes me feel alittle anxious. And having anxiety is not fun. It's a everday battle that needs to be worked on to get through the day. But I have different tools I use to help combat it. And they seem to help. It has really gotten better. It's a work in progress everday. Some days are better than others. Hope all is well. Take good care. Italianmomma4ever
I like your theory about the chicken and the egg. I think in that case I would have to say the chicken. Then the egg was layed. Lol. Then out came the chicken. Lol
Nervousness is something that you feel temporarily. Like before a job interview, or giving a speech or trying something new. Nervousness usually goes away after awhile.
Anxiety is something you feel on an ongoing basis. Anxiety tends to stick around and is a condition that needs to be treated.
I hope that makes sense. And answers your question.
Thanks for the great question. Italianmomma4ever
Anxiety tends to have physical symptoms that go along with it. Anxiety is not cureable, but it's manageable.
Anxiety and Depression can happen at the same time. There are things that work to improve both of them.
For me, learning to accept the balance act with both of them helped me to accept the two sides of the coin toss.
When one outweighs the other, I work towards the calm.
Yes it sure is. When I watch a scary movie it scares me. Lol.
I do believe anxiety and depression go hand and hand. I was diagnosed with anxiety. But I feel like the anxiety can get me down sometimes. I think just having to deal with it bugs me.
I'm still learning and trying different techniques to manage my anxiety. And so far so good.
Staying calm is a must. I know when my anxiety reaches a certain level, I will start to slow down my breathing. And stay in the moment and try to stay focused. It seems to help. Deep breathing is a must. I like meditating and yoga too. Thanks Mid for your comment. Have a Calm day.!!! Italianmomma4ever
I have read that anxiety is harder to beat. And I have it. Lucky me. Lol
I've heard depression isn't as bad. But I think they both would be bad together..
Yes it is a tricky question. I think they go hand and hand. But that's just my opinion. I have anxiety. But sometimes I think the anxiety can put me in a funk. I don't know if that's really depression or just I don't like having anxiety and how it makes you feel. I haven't been diagnosed with depression. Only anxiety. And I have heard that's the worsier one to have. But it's manageable and I don't let it control me or my life. Thanks for your comment. I hope your doing well. Italianmomma4ever
