Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Hi everyone,
I am new here and excited to join this group. I am curious if anyone has experienced long term/daily anxiety to the point that you have no idea where it stems from or when it will end? It is rare that I get moments during the day feeling completely anxious free. I try to keep myself busy, but I am in an awful habit of reminding myself to feel bad when I start to feel good... I can't seem to stop this cycle. Then I start to tell myself I will never be normal again, or that I am losing my mind, which makes me spiral even worse.
I have had anxiety for a while but it has escalated so badly this past month, that it makes me wonder if there is something else I am experiencing?

It's bedtime but I heated up some coffee to take my pills with and made a fresh pot so I can have some as soon as I wake up tomorrow a.m. I've been on a roll for 2 days with cleaning and getting other stuff done. I bought a new cell phone about a week ago and I've been having some issues. I stopped at Verizon and a nice young man jumped in to help. As a result, I was able to get an iced...

Anxiety is a long term/daily condition for me. There is room to theorate that I was born anxious into a criminally dysfunctional childhood which nurtured my anxious nature into aberrations psychiatry has yet to find names for. JPC is my favorite name for ^it^. "Just Plain Crazy" covers allot of ground, both good and bad.
My lifelong journey through anxiety and its snakey side effects has me convinced that anxiety is far more contagious than a mere microbe can ever achieve. It certainly is for me, personally. Could your new anxiety escalations **just** be the New Normal of Coronaville? Achoo?
Just wondering. . . Every case of anxiety is unique and yours is yours to sort. Gentle support while you sort your own case, Cro. Sort freely. Sort often.
Welcome aboard.
problem can cause anxiety. A therapist can help you learn coping skills
if its mental and not physical. You need to learn to be kind to yourself and
more positive. I have had life long anxiety and lifelong negativity. Still working on both everyday.
Agree with @Tired, to get checked by a doctor for anything physical, and if it's not physical, make an appointment with a psychiatrist for possible medication, and yes, do therapy... that will help you a lot.
Keep writing it out. Writing it out helps.
You've taken the important first step in writing it out.
