Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. I've had arthritis and Fibro for 10 years now and it's been going downhill every year. A new joint seems to give out every year. I feel useless and sometimes I want to end it all. I have an amazingly supportive boyfriend but he doesn't understand my anxiety. If hes playing video games and I hear him talking to a woman I have this unrealistic fear hes going to leave me for some random chick online who lives in another country. I hate that I even doubt him. Hes honest and so supportive but my brain doesnt understand why hes with me and so I inevitable think someday he'll leave me because I'm useless and broken. When I think about ending my life because really I'm not living much of one, I think of my dad and the grief I'd put him through and ik afraid when hes gone I'll go through with it.
I hate feeling sorry for myself, I hate feeling crazy and I hate how my brain works and I know I'm in control of my own thoughts but I have a hard time controlling them.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
There is also an active fibro and several arthritis boards here, as well. It might be worth a surf to see if one of those boards could provide you with even more support.
Welcome aboard. Hope you find stabilizing companionship here. Family members, et al, can be helpful in coping, but are usually to emotionally involved to be as supportive as somebody who is dealing with similar pain.
As arfie mentions, there are several groups that will give you help in the areas mentioned.
There's a lot you will learn as you read, share, and keep on working til you find what works for you!
