Try telling yourself often that food is nourishment that you need to live. And you DESERVE to live. Then you would eat small portions (maybe a cracker) letting yourself know that you deserve the nourishment and that you deserve to keep it in you. Since this only just started recently hopefully it will not take long to reverse. But it is super important to keep the focus on you and not on him. All statements will be 'I' statements. I deserve to live. I deserve to be nourished. I deserve to be free. I deserve to be healthy.

For me, anxiety is often a response to feeling like I don't have very much control over my life. An ex can certainly cause those "out of control" feelings.
I agree with LE on the metaphysical rejection symbolized through being sick. I wonder if you can in some way find your voice and stand up for yourself if it would help.
For me, getting involved with other women going through a similar situation helped a great deal. Also getting into a fun women's group where we watch movies and have a pot luck helps a lot.
You get to make the decisions you want about your life.

Try to eat something small and light and take your time eating it. Instead of 2-3 big meals try 4-5 smaller meals and see if that helps.
But just try and get anything down, even if its just a popsicle or jello. Your appetite will eventually come back. you will eventually be so hungry that you will want to eat a full meal.
It is very very strange and a new symptom for me. Getting new symptoms stresses me out even more then.
I panic when new symptoms show and then I try to make sense of the new symptoms with research. Often mental health issues will merely cause these though.
