Often, people with anxiety can speak in front of a crowd of 10,000 with no problem, perform brain surgery, fly to war-torn countries, raise dozens of foster kids.
Then we have to go to the grocery in the dark one night to get diapers or something and we need three days in bed to recover.
I think our wires are just crossed. When you have anxiety, you look for the "why" so you can prevent another attack. Whatever is going on at the time of the attack becomes the why - even though the "why" is a random adrenalin dump.

Persi, it is not as weird as you think, it actually sounds very common to me and pretty much most people who are high anxiety people.Go easy on yourself. just take it a day at a time.
