I've never been the type of person to get nervous before a show. I was born to act, and it's my passion. But recently, I've started to get very anxious at rehearsals, to the point where I have to step outside and calm down. Normally, rehearsals are my happy place, but now I can't wait to get out of them. I'm confident in everyone's acting abilities, and it doesn't feel like it has to do with the fact our show is on Friday. Why is this happening? Will it go away when the show is over?

It happens when things collect from all areas and in the quiet of the backstage, they pop up in your mind.
Do even breathing. Best wishes for a wonderful show production!
Anxiety does that to us.
In the truest traditions "Break a leg". Have a good show and BREEEEEAAAATTTTHHHHEEEE :)
My own anxiety comes and goes in unpredictable waves. With all the social chaos of these covidic times, my anxiety is less predictable than ever. I seldom have clear indicators what is triggering it, nor when it will pass. Plying therapy tools in place of agonizing over such details helps me hold a steady course while I wait as patiently as possible for ^it^ to pass. Oftentimes, the patient observation leads me to the whys and wherefores, but more often ^it^ simply passes or I find new coping tools to deal.
But that is me and every case is unique.
Gentle support while you sort what it is in your case.
Welcome aboard.
