I just want to talk a little sorry. I took a job that I'm pretty sure I knew wasn;t for me from day one but I stuck it out and it wasn;t for me. I was constantly criticized because I just wasnt getting 100% of the job so when the probationary period was up thankfully I got let go. My anxiety had risen its ugly head during all of this and came to a point where I wasn't functioning.
But Now, I have to find something else and I don;t know what to do,
Applying for anything scares me or list something that I find overwhelming or I just feel like I can't do anything and my anxiety is going to keep me back.
I have to work. I'm a single mom.
I'm spinning.
Everything is going to be okay.......................................but

I say this because I too was a solo mother with severe GAD and I too had to work no matter what. i had to keep putting one foot in front of the other at all times... and it was awful
it made a huge difference. Not all the difference, but a huge amount. Don't expect medication to remove all the bad feelings, that way lies drug addiction. but it will take it down to a level where you can cope with it. Quiets the mind. You can let go things that have happened much easier.
and then when you are on an even keel in a job which works for you, you can take those pills down again.
That's what I've done and I've come a LONG way in the last 2 yrs. I'm now pretty close to the end of the tunnel.
No matter what, you put yourself in the moment, and then be kind to your self, and be positive.
Rather than call it a job you're looking for, it's something to do...when I changed it to that, it was much easier to find a position that worked best for me.
