Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Hello All,
Man I hate to sound too sensative but for some reason I start getting super anxious when the seasons change. I currently live in Arizona and if you haven't been here let me just tell you that summers can be brutally hot. My very first anxiety attack came during a summer here in Arizona. For some reason as soon as summer is about to come around I start getting anxious. I start feeling the heat and feeling the bright sun burn into my eyes and drain my body of energy. I usually feel really hot in the inside as well as if I am going to combust. Does any one ever experience this? Like a fear of the heat or feeling dehydrated and drained? How do you cope with it? Let me know and I wish you all a damn good Monday.

Ice passed away in February at 17yrs old. She collasped one day and that was it. I am still crying. I miss her so, so much.I miss the smell of her paws, playing with her scruffy beard, listening to her bark in her sleep, the way she nudges my hand with her nose during our walks. I see her everywhere. In my car, at the door, under my desk, the neighborhood. I want to hold her and kiss her so...

I lost my dog last July to cancer, as some of you might remember. It was devastating and I got very depressed, but through treatment I got back to "my normal" last month. I've been poking around the rescue sites to adopt a dog and I've seen a few since July and I visited them but decided I wasn't ready. I actually adopted one in September but realized I was too depressed and it was a mistake so I...

AnxietyFreak40 I feel for you, I had moved to Visalia and it was way too gloomy for me. I love sunny days but sometimes they are overbearing and I feel this hot sensation at the base of my neck and in my extremities. It is weird but also I notice that it is brought on by anxiety. I think I am too accustomed to being comfortable, Maybe I'm just a little b**ch lol. I live in Chandler AZ currently. I love AZ, just summers make me change my mind lol.
And I love the heat. And the sun, and the warm nights. Also just taking a nap in a dark room on a hot day.
So sorry, bud, can't help you. I can say, I'll take the dry heat over that east coast steam any day.
First of all don't feel bad for your anxiety nobody here will judge, we all suffer with this for different reasons and in different ways.
I moved from Ireland to France last year so as you can imagine heat and sun is a completely new concept for me lol
But wow the amount of things I was able to do because of this weather was great........ BBQs with friends, day trips, ocean swims, picnics, dining al fresco, laying outside watching the stars at night,
Maybe try and look at how this weather can be a positive aspect in your life rather than a negative- make a list and compare positive v negative.
Just an idea
Take care!!
