Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
I have been so worried about something this last few weeks that I have never been as stressed out before and OCD has gotten bad again because of it. About a week ago my nipples started tingling, today they have gotten worse because I am waiting on my period which is due tomorrow. Tinglying under my arms, and nipples red (sorry for oversharing) just freaked me out. I keep trying to not worry but I can't help it...I'm afraid I'm pregnant or my period won't come tomorrow or my period will come and the pain will still be there. Another thing I don't understand is yesterday I had no pain under I started doing research online last night and I felt the pain coming back again...anxiety seems to have gotten a hold of me, does anyone else feel like this?

I'm not sure about the nipple-tingling, but try to focus on other things. Could be something you're building up in your mind so much that physical symptoms are kind of making phantoms of your body.
If your period does end up being late, go to the doctor or take a pregnancy test.
But just try to remember - hard as I know it is sometimes - that there's no point in freaking out about something that hasn't even happened yet.
I hope everything works out and that you find some relief from your anxiety soon.
Congrats on the growing awareness, Teresa. It's okay to repeat yourself. Anxiety is a repetitive problem and the diff between a hit and a miss can be quite small. Keep on fine tuning until you find just the right harmony.
